Biddulph Grange Gardens

A National Trust Gem

I have a wonderful brother-in-law and sister-in-law who drove a ninety minute each way journey today to take me to visit Biddulph Grange Gardens. OK, I could have caught the bus, but I had the preparing and painting of the port gunnels (undercoat) planned and then there was the GP practice and the FA Cup Final to keep me occupied.* But no, instead we went out in the most glorious weather we've had for weeks to a photographers paradise. I could easily have spent more time there - maybe another visit one day.

So here's a panoramic view as we emerged from the NT Shop and Entrance:

Here are the royals posing on the veranda, and the view they are looking out on:

I hope you enjoyed the visit as much as I did - there are some more pictures here: Click here to go to the gallery

(*I finished the painting by 10 and saw most of GP practice and the end of the FA Cup FInal as well, as it turned out - what a great day! I even finished this blog before midnight.)
