Not with John on it I am sure!

We wandered down to Wrenbury Lift Bridge and John helped a local narrowboater through, then back again after he had winded in the hire boat basin. The basin is being re-piled and most of the boats are on the 48H moorings.

Here is the "action sequence", keep an eye on the narrowboat owner's dog supervising things!

(Note to experienced crew - you can press the "Lower" button when the boat is halfway through - the motor takes time to get warmed up!)

Behind where we are moored is the other Wrenbury Lift Bridge, shown on yesterday's blog in its 2005 state.
