It's Our Day!

Celebrations!

Today is a Feast Day - it is also our "name day". Some of our readers are ahead of us and have already congratulated us! Thanks for you kind comments.

Today we remember the Wise Men who followed the star to Bethlehem. They were expecting to find a King and found a baby. The crib in Birmingham's Oratory had them already there last week!

Those Wise Men had an "Epiphany" - the realisation that something special had happened and nothing would ever be the same again. Something new (actually Someone, Jesus) had occurred which not only affected the immediate family but the whole world.

So Christians celebrate the Feast of Epiphany and John and I have double cause for celebration.

Anyone who sees us coming on our boat will see the symbolism on the bows

Our "Epiphany" has changed our lives; we think she is something special and certainly everything in our world changed on the day she was launched! So, as surely as the Feast of Epiphany follows Twelfth Night, our floating home followed our Twelfth Night experience.

We are thankful for both the Wise Men's Epiphany and the privilege of having the opportunity to live on Nb Epiphany and cruise the waterways of England. (When we are not iced-in on the BCN in Birmingham, that is!).

We hope you will continue to enjoy sharing our Epiphany journey!
