Cool?

Birmingham is "cool"

It is mid day and -0.6 outside: ice on the canal and absolutely NO boat movements on this part of the BCN! So far, the lowest night-time temperature has only been -5 degrees. We are moored in the middle of a city (see skyline photo!), surrounded by buildings so it must be much colder outside the city!

That's nothing - friends in Canada report day-time temps as low as -28 degrees. Good job there are no canals over there - winter cruising would be a no-no! Even the rivers freeze.

Maybe we will have a walk later - I fancy walking down the Farmers Locks! If the sun keeps shining
