For those who like looking at boats

I snapped a few interesting boats on our Lymm to Marston trip

Motor and Butty, Ultima and Thule were ahead of us for a while and then they stopped to let us pass. Maybe they were on their way to the Middlewich Boat Rally and Beer Festival this weekend?

Nb Wizard, the community boat, built by Rev. David Long, passed us before Thorn Marine. We did not recognise anyone that we had met at his church in Wigan.

As we joined the Trent and Mersey at Preston Brook we saw what must be one of the smallest boats on the system.

Just before Ryan's Bridge (210) on the Trent and Mersey we saw this boat with "roof insulation" - artificial grass on the roof, complimenting the potted plants. One has to wonder what the roof paintwork was like underneath!

Finally I could not resist this seen on a boat at Winnington, near Anderton - I would prefer a live one on my boat though!
