A Todmorden Cruise

One Lock or Two?

As promised, Derek & Dot arrived to help me through Shop Lock. Derek and Dot at Shop Lock

They went ahead and set the lock for me and I then brought Epiphany in, while they did all the work!

Half Full

Derek opened the paddles slowly under Dot's instruction!

It was a lovely day for a cruise. Shame it was only to fill up with water, empty the chemical toilet cassette and dump the rubbish:

At the Service Point

The Todmorden Service Station is clean, tidy, and quite a feature:

Then it was backwards through Shop Lock onto the mooring.

This afternoon I went back to Huddersfield and found the patient well and longing for a cruise! A few more days to wait methinks, but not too many, we hope,

0.34 miles 2 locks 40 minutes
