Over the hills and far away

...but the train, bus, walk has become just 1 hour 20 mins each way for me!

Fi now has a great view from her bedroom window - better than mine, I have to say, but I know where she would rather be! If the weather is better tomorrow I'll take the camera with me, so you can share the experience - the vista, that is.

Around midnight, the powers that be decided that, as she had been assessed, she could move onto a ward (8). What a wonderful system it is that wakes a sick person up in the middle of the night (another 2 people moved at the same time) and relocates them, with all that entails. Still, you can't plan when people are going to be ill, can you? - as we know.

I'm very pleased to say that I found Fi much better today, so thank you all for your prayers, thoughts etc.. The surgeons are continuing with their conservative treatment, so a bit of patience from patient and husband are now required, while the healing process hopefully continues.

The Pennines are producing drizzle at the moment. (Apparently the south is suffering from a mini-drought.) Someone blamed it on Manchester being a hot-house, but I seem to remember from my geography lessons that it's the hills lifting the air that produces precipitation. However, if it's dry tomorrow, I'll hope to give Epiphany a bit of attention outside - can't let here feel I'm ignoring her, can I?  ;-)
