The past bumps into the present

It is a small world after all!

We were peacefully eating our evening meal in Clarence Dock on the River Aire in Leeds, when we were bumped in the side. What the ....

I looked up to see the bows of a boat filling the galley window - it was green with red rails and looked a little familiar!

The boat settled next to us on the next pontoon in Clarence Dock. I rushed to the back to see the name and this is what I saw

A familiar stern end!Twelfth Night

Our past had caught up with us. For once Epiphany had come before Twelfth Night! But now Epiphany and Twelfth Night were side by side in Leeds. It was a strange feeling!

Richard S and his family were on board and Richard came round to the window to apologise for the rude awakening! "Nothing like announcing your arrival," quipped John. We were off out to The Grand Theatre so couldn't stop for a natter or more photos.

We had a great night out at The Grand - Agatha Christie's "The Spider's Web". It was brilliant and so funny. The theatre is wonderful and has been restored to its former 1878 glory.

As Twelfth Night left (at about 8 am - too early for me!) John had a snatched conversation with Richard as he backed out to leave Clarence Dock.

Two hours later - we followed.
