Glasson Basin - the end of the Branch

Moored in Glasson Basin

Actually we are just outside the basinOur mooring

To our right in the Basin are permanent Moorings with electric points and a variety of boats moored there. To our left is the BWML (British Waterways Marine Limited) Marina full of mainly cruisers and sailing boats.

We had a lovely sunset last nightsunset

It was very windy overnight and we could hear the water lapping at the hull - it felt as if we were on a river! This morning the wind had dropped a little and after an early lunch we went exploring. The Basin and Dock deserve a blog of their own but here are a few of the views from our walk to the top of the village and along part of the Lancashire Coastal Walk.
