Parting is such sweet sorrow

We shall be leaving this lovely quiet spot tomorrow

Hardly anything has disturbed us. There have been some walkers, a few joggers, but even less boats! We have company tonight in the shape of a Viking - hire boat that is!

It has been a little blowy today but the sun has just come out to warm us up for the evening. The Morso is OUT and has been since we have been here!

Opposite us, by the lock weir is a "bird sanctuary"

How many birds can you spot?

It has been my pleasure to watch the Black Headed Gulls, Cormorant and Heron. Just out of shot are some ducks and a wayward Canada Goose!

The Cormorant is definitely king of the castle
