Early birds or should I say dogs?

We both were awake too early! We read a bit and went back to sleep.

Boats going by woke us again just before 8 am. John got up and had a look outside soon after. There was a boat moored in front of us that hadn't been there last night.

Nb Greyhound

I heard a dog bark and asked John if it was a greyhound - it was (one of five in view - not sure which one spoke) and the boat was "Dogs on Tour". We got the coffee on and had a good natter with Grey Gal and A! It was so good to see them. The last time we met was when we were still in Devizes Marina. They were in the motor home then!

They had lots of tips for us about the Weaver Navigation: thanks guys! We talked blogs and boats as you do and promised to make sure we give lots of info about our Ribble and Liverpool trips. Lots of blogging to do for me to do!

We waved them on their way as they are going back home after a fantastic time on the Weaver.
