When the mile posts were on the towpath on our starboard they read the other way around - or the wrong way round! The mileage to Preston Brook came first. If you think about it they made them all the same!

Roger Fuller's boats moored opposite Shugborough Hall

Shugborough Hall Gate house over the park

Shugborough Hall

Why do we always pass it during the "off season!? One day we will manage to visit it!

Finally, as I am thinking about my stomach - it is time to get the evening meal!

The Lock House restaurant above Haywood lock

The bundle in the foreground is the lock ground paddle wrapped in BW "not to be used" mode!
