Hawkesbury Junction in pictures

Hawkesbury Junction is not only an historic spot, it also looks pretty in the snow.

Some of the scenes in the last couple of days include

The lock from the Oxford Canal onto the Coventry Canal

The Historic Greyhound pub

The Old Engine House at Sutton Stop

From 1821 - 1913 a Newcomen Engine was used to pump water into the canal. It is now in Dartmouth Museum, back "home" as Thomas Newcomen was a Dartmouth man.

More to come - maybe!
