OK, I succumb!

I was right then! All the blogs I follow had snow photos, LOL. Mind you, none of them show 10 inches of snow - my sister in Beckenham reported that amount!

I resisted temptation but John couldn't so the following photos are his.

Moorhens are not camouflaged in snow!

The moorhen was taken this morning in glorious sunshine. The ice on the cut is melting and one boat has gone through. We await Gosty Hill for coal and maybe fuel. Probably the ice has held him up. However we are in no hurry to move, though we will need a "poo pit" soon!
