One and All

Moored below Calthorpe winding hole, Banbury

What a difference a day makes! After a good night, and yes, I did hear the birds this morning; we woke to a warm day! The sun peeked out and I realised that we are moored in a very pretty spot.

My agenda for the day was - making bread, washing the duvet cover and scrubbing the back steps! As I began the first task Eddie from Nb Ten Bob Note walked by and waved.

Thee have been a number of boats passing. The first was a BW work boat with an outboard and a guy standing on the back steering. Late morning, as I washed up, Hadar passed and I waved to Keith and Jo. As they went by the heavens opened, it was a short sharp shower and then the sun came out again.

The washing and the steps done I began to relax!

After lunch I got the camera out and took some scenic photos as seen on this blog! The boat in the picture below was a surprise. As he passed I spotted a Cornish flag in one of the windows and then the boat name - Nb Longships from Sennen. We had been talking to John's cousin about Sennen only a few days ago. One of their forebears was fom Sennen!

So the Cornish are about!

We just need to start seeing the New Zealand flag again! These two flags were the ones we most often spotted last year!
