Back on board Epiphany

We are back home after a lovely few days celebrating Christmas with our friends John and Carolyn. It is good to be back afloat!

Needless to say the boat was rather cold as we had left no heat on. However once we had fired up the Webasto and set the fire, things soon warmed up. We are now nice and cosy again.

We have a few days left here, moored at Cropredy, and then a short cruise to Banbury for Epiphany's New Year present - a smart bottom! Well, it will be once it is blacked in Tooley's Boatyard! We will see her in all her blackened glory only very briefly before the dry dock is re-watered and we float away.

John will be able to get some photos, hopefully, as he will be at Tooley's on Saturday. I quite like the idea that Epiphany will be in an historic boatyard (established in 1790) for at least once in her lifetime!
