What is that law?

6 hours 11 minutes, 9.41 miles, 7 locks

The law - something to do with a small piece of earth! We certainly proved the law yesterday

My laptop died
I shut my thumb in a newly well greased hatch
Our post had not "restanted" at Leighton Buzzard

3 things, so even that law was proved! All together - ahh........

However we enjoyed our trip once the calamities and the sprawl of Leighton Buzzard were past. It was still very icy, but sunny. At Soulbury Three locks we met a boat coming up and the boat that had been in front of us, breaking the ice, decided to have a rest. Its helmsman repaired to the pub at the bottom of the locks!

We had decided to push on as much as possible so that we would have time in hand incase the weather became worse and we becae stuck. I had re-provisioned Epiphany well and truly at Leighton Buzzard with this in mind!

The canal was well and truly in the countryside for a while with the occasional village and road in the distance. We finally moored up just short of Fenny Stratford Lock (22), grateful to stop as it had been a long day.
