Beer and jazz on the River Thames

We have moved upstream to a more populated area. The Broad Face pub near Abingdon Bridge has beer and jazz over the weekend - what good timing!

John enjoys the combination of beer and jazz, me, I like jazz but will give the beer a miss......

We may visit the pub over the weekend to sample the event. They have plenty of beer judging by the stack of barrels we spied.
Abingdon Town Hall is gradually being unveiled.

It has been under wraps for restoration and each time we have been here a little more is visible. It is going to be glorious from what I could see through the scaffolding. It is a shame we will not see it.
We called in at Abingdon Boat Centre and found the high and dry day boats I mentioned yesterday. In the car park.

We now have some antifreeze, John has a job to do now and maybe if we are prepared it won't happen - the ice and snow I mean!
