Back tracking on the Paddington Arm

On the way down to the Paddington Arm along the Grand Union from Kensal Green there were some things I missed, so this is the blog where I make up for that!

If you look hard there are some remains of the old buildings and docks ......

Porta bella dock

Satellite City

Trellick Tower

A Grade II listed Trellick Tower from 1972, 31 storeys designed by Ernö Goldfinger

Topiary

A lovely topiary lined wall

wall decorated

The wall is highly decorated

mooring bay

Every so often there are mooring bays between the flats

Houseboat

This houseboat was once owned and lived on by Richard Branson

Finally for those of you who want to see what a BW sani-station mooring looks like! There is just room for a 57 footer to moor, anything longer may overhang a bit!
