After this morning's church we had a short cruise to meet up with Sue and Vic from No Problem and Chas and Anne from Moore 2 Life. They were moored at Nether Hayford after coming off the River Nene.

It was much colder today and rather overcast so it was woolly hat on! The canal winds its way through Stowehill Wharf, High Wharf and consequently lots of moored boats. Some on long term moorings and others on 14 day.

I think we only managed to get out of tickover a couple of times and then for only short distances. Approaching Nether Heyford the moored boats start again through Heyford Wharf and Furnace Wharf.

We spotted the bows of Moore 2 Life with No Problem moored behind them just before bridge 33, so moored up bow to bow with Chas and Anne - greeted by Mollie their dog!

Sue, Vic and Meg - it was the first time we have met Meg -  also greeted us before we all disapeared for lunch!

Once the Grand Prix was over - Come on Lewis, you can do it this time, pleeease - we had a cuppa and a natter on No Problem  Last time we saw her she was being painted and fitted out at Devizes and it was great to see her as Sue and Vic's home now.

More cruising tomorrow, despite the weather forcast as we all go our opposite ways!
