A wet Saturday on the Thames - entertainment and jobs

We are staying put - not that we are fair weather sailors - but we need some time to "catch up".

Rowing antics

Nothing like this to entertain us today

Boat jobs, computer jobs and a bit of TV and cooking thrown in .......

Boat jobs - John is fitting some more sound insulation in the back cabin. It is an awkward job as it is in the electrics cupboard and he has to bury his head in it to do it.

Wonder of wonders we had a wee bit of sunshine, so my boat job was to wash the side of the boat, just the one! We have collected so many leaves, flies and dust that the heavy rain last night was welcome as it gave Epiphany a preliminary wash. Now one side looks better than the other ....

Computer jobs - I have uploaded our Cliveden photos and Windsor photos for your entertainment in case you are bored on this wet Saturday.

These are in our "Interesting Places" section of our website gallery. If you ever want to find out about a bit more to do with the places we visit, it is worth having a browse through this section. Click on the gallery link in the top menu and then find "Interesting Places" in the thumbnails.

TV - well that is the golf, more John's interest than mine. However they too are battling with the weather in Sandwich, Kent. To quote John, "who wants a soggy sandwich?" laugh

Cooking is one of my relaxations and today it was a loaf of bread and a curry for supper. Now I have to decide whether to serve rice or naan bread with it. Decisions, decisions .....
