What Epiphany Did - buy now!

Or perhaps it should be what John and Fi did and then Fi did again! Loyal blog readers will remember we cruised the North Yorkshire Waterways last summer.

What a great time we had, but read on ....

We cruised the River Ouse, Ure and right to the most north-easterly point of the inland system - all the way to Ripon on the Ripon Canal. We then "adventure boated" on the River Derwent and explored the beautiful four and a half miles of the restored Pocklington Canal.

One of our readers thought that our experiences qualified us (by that I mean me!) to write a guide to these waterways. Christine Richardson of "Richlow", who write and publish guides to the waterways in the north east, contacted me and the result has just been published! The strap line for Richlow Guides is "written by people who go there".

Both Christine and her business partner John Lower - with their respective spouses, Malcolm and Barbara - have been boating for years and there are other Richlow Guides and titles written by them - they are "people who go there" too"!

So folks - don't miss out. If you are planning a trip up to the north east this year, or any time in the future, make sure you get hold of a copy of the appropriate Richlow Guide. They are full of information, maps, illustrations and tips that only fellow boaters would know, written from experience, unlike some other guides on the market, (no names, no pack drill!). The guides are kept up to date, with new updates available via the Richlow website if things change before a new print run.

Buy now! - Click on the logo link on our sidebar for my guide or go to the Richlow website for other titles. These include Ashton Canal, Chesterfield Canal, Huddersfield Canal, Lincolnshire Waterways and the South Pennine Ring. All prices include post and packing - a bargain and an investment!

Keep an eye out for us as we cruise; make yourself known and you might even get an autograph laugh
