Uninspired or .........?

It is one of those days when ....

a. I have no idea what to blog about

b. It is misty and gloomy outside

c. There is water outside the boat, but underneath lots more ice

d. I fall to wondering when the first narrowboat might get impatient and break through the remaining ice

e. I begin to really long for warmer weather and cruising

f. I begin again to "count my blessings!

Perhaps I had better start another list ....

a. We love our lifestyle

b. It is warm and cosy inside Epiphany

c. We have a nearly full tank of water and empty cassettes

d. Mad narrowboaters are few and one day we will jump up simultaneously saying "narrowboat" and peer out of the porthole as if we have never seen one before!

e. I have thousands of photos to look at to remind me of where and what we have done

f. I find I have written a blog, despite lack of inspiration

So here is one of my favourite photos to  cheer me up  - and you too, I hope. This is the tranquil and beautiful Pocklington Canal, part of the North Yorkshire Waterways - a little explored canal but soooo worth it.
