It got us this time

A puzzle photo for you

puzzleCan you work this out?

We woke to a new world this morning. Like children some were out early to tread the virgin snow. Others took a while to get going but when they did ("they" being John "dog walking" with Bones, Boots and Molly) this is what the camera lens made of it.

Annie's Tea Rooms are open at the weekends and they do a very good breakfast apparently, so John sampled it and agreed - so no lunch for him! Below are the cottages beside the tea rooms and Annie's with a covering of snow.

By the time the intrepid walkers came out there was much more of the white stuff - the moorings beside the cottages look rather atmospheric in this photo!

Molly (home narrowboat Millie M) was determined to get home to a nice warm fire especially when she saw what had happened to Epiphany!

How about this atmospheric one of Sparrowgap Bridge over the hotel narrowboats moored in front of us!

Oh, and that puzzle photo - it is the gap in the roof snow created by pushing back the stern hatch on John's return! The white stuff is still coming down and nearly up to gunnel level, so our next blog may be from a buried Epiphany!
