A welcome visitor in Reading

"There's a luvly moon up there" - Crane Wharf (opposite us) at night.

Yesterday and today we had a very welcome visitor! He came in the swan door, looked right , left and then scooted  down the boat towards the stern, exploring!

He is called Gizmo, let me introduce you.

What a great place to wash in the sun

Gizmo belongs to one of the boats moored at the town end of the moorings and is apparently a little ferral!

A busy, boaty morning for us both. Cleaning inside for me and touching up outside for John. Then we took a bus to Tesco by the Thames to do a big shop - trolley bag, back pack and 3 Tesco bags full! I think we are now OK for a day or two! Fridge and freezer bursting at the seams!

Still no updates on the EA flood line so we assume all the boards are still up. Surely they have to come down soon as there has been no rain for 2 days and none forecast for this area for the rest of the week.

We now have a new album in our gallery - Interesting Places. I plan to upload photos of places we visit that we find interesting, photogenic or whatever. They will be mainly from our cruises now we are continually cruising, each in their sub album. Hopefully Reading will be up tonight!
