You just never know ......

Who might be on a passing narrowboat!

This is a well known name and narrowboat. Until today we have only seen photos of her. Here on the South Oxford Canal we see many familiar names!

Granny Buttons under a NZ flagLook who is on the back

What a lovely surprise to see Derek and Dot back on a narrowboat, thanks to "Granny Buttons". I wonder if it is the first time narrowboat Granny Buttons has cruised under a New Zealand flag?

We all had a great chinwag and coffee on Epiphany, catching up with all we could in the short time they were able to stop. They have lots of boating friends to see yet as they travel up the cut.

So you never know who might be lurking and about to surprise you!
