We were warned!
This morning the moorings here above Naburn Locks were calm and quiet. Although I had seen a number of legs (presumably with bodies above!) walking by on the bank above our mooring.
Peace and calm
The answer became clear as the only boat movement was the River Duchess trip boat to York winding above the moorings. Maybe the legs were all making their way to this!

Then, a while later, we were invaded! Epiphany rocked and we were overwhelmed by a large sea-going cruiser passing and mooring beyond. This was the forerunner of over 20 more cruisers - some large, some small. They have taken over the moorings and those boats that came up Naburn Locks at lunch time had to go on as there was no space.

This seems to be a regular event, as Geoff and Gill had the same experience last time they were here! I did not spot any called "Olympic Flame" though! If you can't work out why this is a good name for a cruiser, I will tell all tomorrow!
